High-precision tool solution for dental dilators

We developed a high-precision tooling solution for the production of dental dilators, ensuring the process-stable injection molding of these long, thin-walled components. An innovative, integrated support sleeve stabilizes the delicate inner core during the injection process, enabling strict adherence to tight tolerances.

Fully automated 2K tool for 384-well plate modules with pins

For a biotechnology company, we developed a fully automated two-component (2K) tool for manufacturing 384-well plate modules for laboratory use. This solution integrates various injection molding steps and the insertion of metal pins into a single, fully automated manufacturing cell.

High-cavity mold for delicate automotive components

Scaling from 8 to 32 cavities with complex internal collapsible core technology: We realized a high-cavity tool for geometrically challenging automotive fixing rings and managed the subsequent injection molding production. The primary challenge involved internal undercuts, which required delicate collapsible cores in every cavity to ensure clean demolding.

PCR Test Cartridges for a Start-Up

RKT produced PCR test cartridges for detecting MRSA and SARS-CoV-2 pathogens under rigorous ISO class 7 clean-room conditions for a start-up client, automating nearly every step of the process.The aim was to accompany the company into industrial series production and to establish in-house process expertise for microfluidic products.

Mini Lab Disk for Skin Diseases

We oversaw the volume production of a lab-on-a-chip disk used for the detection of skin psoriasis and also distinguished it from eczema. In the use case, we describe the close collaboration with the Hahn-Schickard-Gesellschaft, which is responsible for the pre-series and small series.
