Special Recognition for Sustainability: In its reassessment by the sustainability platform EcoVadis, RKT achieved a Silver medal with 78 out of 100 possible points. This places us among the top 15% of all companies evaluated on the platform—an extraordinary result for a business of our size.
This success is no coincidence. Embedding sustainability standards into our operations has been part of our corporate DNA for many years. When we underwent our initial EcoVadis assessment last year, our goal was to present our sustainability efforts to our customers in a more structured, transparent, and verifiable manner, achieving “Committed” status (59 points) on our first attempt.
The growing interdependence of global supply chains increasingly impacts mid-sized enterprises. Customer inquiries now frequently include ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) criteria—such as environmental protection, compliance, occupational safety, and supply chain responsibility. Aligning with the internationally recognized EcoVadis standard has allowed us to address these demands directly.
Following our initial rating, we worked intensively on areas for improvement by evaluating existing structures and processes and documenting them in comprehensive reports (such as our sustainability report, materiality analysis, and HR report), ultimately elevating our status to Silver.
Moving forward, we will continue to enhance our data quality through digitization and specialized software to make our key performance indicators even more transparent. This ensures we remain well-prepared for specific customer inquiries and upcoming regulatory requirements.
